About Aster & Links
Most reviewers come back to the people. The leasing team gets steady credit for patient, unhurried tours, and the maintenance crew is praised for quick repairs. A few residents describe a rough leasing process or ongoing friction during their stay, so it pays to show up with your questions ready.
Picking between Aster and Links in Sarasota
The company describes two high-rise buildings with different moods. Aster leans classic and elegant. Links goes bolder, with a moodier look.
There is also a small run of penthouses. Its website names rooftop lounges with bay views and private wellness studios among the perks. The company says it sits in downtown Sarasota, a short walk from beaches, dining and art.
Touring Aster & Links before you sign
The website lists guided tours, a one-on-one walk-through with an on-site team member. You get to see the amenities and model homes and ask questions as you go. Reviewers say the team will happily show several floor plans, so ask to compare a few.
Bring your lease questions too. Go over move-in dates, proration, fees and any addenda line by line, and make sure the numbers add up before you commit. The leasing office is open every day, with shorter hours on Sunday, and the place holds a 4.8 rating from 101 Google reviews.
Bringing a pet to Aster & Links
Read the pet policy before you fall for a unit. The company states a $400 deposit for a dog or a cat, plus $25 a month in pet rent for each animal.
Several breeds are restricted, including Akitas, Chows and Rottweilers, along with any mix of them. Check your dog's breed against the full list first. The cap is two pets per home, so a third animal means a different plan.

Google Reviews
Beautiful public spaces and amenities. A special shout out to Taylor Reck my leasing agent. She provided terrific service guiding me through the leasing process with skill, patience and great knowledge.
I have enjoyed living here up until this last weekend. My car tire was slashed on purpose by a knife over the weekend while parked behind the resident parking gate plugged into a resident charger, and I went down to talk to the property manager and got a very off putting response with an added tone of he could care less what happened. The property manager didn’t inquire to what happened or where I was in the process, he just said in general he can’t help so go away. I enjoy living here but if they can’t protect their residents persons or property I don’t see an upside to living here.
I have decided not to renew here. From my perspective, the physical plant did not meet the standard I personally expected from a new luxury building, although others may view it differently. To be fair, I found the apartment itself to be satisfactory, the staff and management to be generally affable, and the maintenance personnel to be professional in my interactions with them. The strongest aspect of the property, in my opinion, is its location. That said, in my experience, there was a persistent base level of friction throughout my tenancy.
